This is day one of the Nail-Aween Nail Art Challenge. Would you believe this is my first challenge? I always wanted to participate in one but I was always seemed to find out about them a bit too late. Not this time!
The first challenge was water marble, a technique I adore. I decided to go for autumnal colors. The result reminds me of autumn leaves, and also the wings of Monarch Butterflies (though that was unintentional). I'm very pleased with how this turned out, though perhaps a nude base color would have been better than a stark white.
Regardless, I love this. Orange is such a cheerful color, isn't it?
Here's what I used:
- L'Oreal Base Coat - Base coat
- Sally Hansen White Out - Base color
- L.A. Colors Wave Length- Marbling
- Sinful Colors Cloud 9 - Marbling
- OPI Charmed By a Snake - Marbling
- Essie Little Brown Dress - Marbling
