Layla Mercury Twilight
Today I want to show you Mercury Twilight, a beautiful linear holographic polish by Layla. Like any holographic polish, Mercury Twilight comes to life in full natural lighting but it looks lovely under artificial lighting as well! This is a powerful full spectrum holo and I can't recommend it enough.
I've swatched two coats of Mercury Twilight over one coat of Essie No Place Like Chrome. To achieve a smooth application I lightly buffed my nails before painting them to remove any ridges. I've been told this is key to flawless holographic application and it certainly worked for me. No interruptions at all, just awesome holo goodness.
I'm so happy with this polish! I couldn't even bring myself to apply any nail art over it - that's how much I love it! Next time I'll definitely try to incorporate it into a design but for now I'm just going to stare at my nails and admire the rainbow awesomeness. I'm so tempted to buy more of this collection now. I think I'm hooked!
What do you think? What's your favorite holo polish?

It's so shiny! You are right, it looks great on its own, without nail art :)
ReplyDeleteSuper shiny!
DeleteIt is stunning! Hopefully, I'll get it soon too :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I hope so! It's such an awesome holo. I've always been very happy with this brand, but I need to order them online as there's no place for me to get them locally.
DeleteI've never tried Layla before but this is a really impressive holo.
