I generally use lighter bases for my splatters but I decided to deviate a bit here. I used two coats Sally Hansen Eel Skin. I love this grey!
For the splatters I used Nicole by OPI One Time Lime, Sinful Colors Sweet Treat and Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris. I also added a bit of L.A. Girl Diamond Top Coat to my colors to thin them and make them easier to splatter. I find it really improves the consistency and the splatters spread better with the edition of a clear polish.
When it came time to do my right hand, however, I may have added a bit too much of the L.A. Girl Diamond Top Coat because my splatters were out of control!

I think I prefer more simplistic splatters, but this is fun.

DeleteIt really isn't difficult at all once you get the hang of it. This was only my second time. I think my first came out a bit better but the second time was a lot easier!
