Zombie Splatter

I've got a multicolored splatter to show you today! A kind of zombie apocalypse meets Jackson Pollock.

I generally use lighter bases for my splatters but I decided to deviate a bit here. I used two coats Sally Hansen Eel Skin. I love this grey!

For the splatters I used Nicole by OPI One Time Lime, Sinful Colors Sweet Treat and Wet N Wild Ebony Hates Chris. I also added a bit of L.A. Girl Diamond Top Coat to my colors to thin them and make them easier to splatter. I find it really improves the consistency and the splatters spread better with the edition of a clear polish.

When it came time to do my right hand, however, I may have added a bit too much of the L.A. Girl Diamond Top Coat because my splatters were out of control!

See the difference?

I think I prefer more simplistic splatters, but this is fun.

  2. Really love this! I've been too afraid to try the splatter method was it easy? Your nails came out so good and your description was like perfect! :)

    1. Aww thanks so much!

It really isn't difficult at all once you get the hang of it. This was only my second time. I think my first came out a bit better but the second time was a lot easier!
